Shouldn’t your café’s name be spelt Le Joli Café not Le Jolie Café?
We deliberately spelt Jolie with an “e”. There’s a story behind it. Prior to setting up Le Jolie Café, we had a business called Waffle Jolie where we handmade and sold our delicious Liege style waffles at artisan markets around Melbourne. When we opened our French café, we decided to keep “Jolie” for branding purposes. Check out this interview with SBS French where we go into more detail.
Are the painting for sale?
Yes, the paintings can be purchased. All the artwork is by Guy Trinquet.
Are you open at night?
We are currently only opened daytime Tues-Sun.
Do you have Gluten Free options at Le Jolie Cafe?
We sure do! In fact, all our crepes and galettes are gluten free at Le Jolie Cafe.
We also have other items on the menu that are glutenfree.
